B2Space was founded in 2016 by 4 passionate engineers that shared a dream : be enablers of a new space era. We are the next revolution in the launch industry for small and micro-satellites, as we will provide the most reliable, flexible and low cost launch system on the planet. Our main goal is to democratize space access, in order to facilitate the development of new technologies and uses of space that will benefit all mankind. B2Space is disrupting the launch industry thanks to the unique combination of a bold concept - The "Rockoon" system - with innovative technologies such as Generative Design, Autonomous Systems and Additive Layer Manufacturing. Our launch concepts consist on a stratospheric balloon, able to lift a rocket launcher to altitudes of 35 km, where the aerodynamic drag is negligible. Then, our IP protected platform allow us to perform a controlled launch of the rocket, and thanks to launching from high altitude, it can be much more optimized and efficient, saving around 80% propellant and cost compared to current launch systems. As we developed our stratospheric operations and expertise, we created complementary offerings : Near Space Testing and HAPS systems.
