Barnsley Premier Leisure (BPL) is a charitable company limited by guarantee. We are a registered charity, established in 1999 to provide sporting and leisure opportunities for local communities. As we are a genuine not-for-profit, social enterprise, any surplus we generate is re-invested into the facilities and services we provide. We manage and operate a diverse portfolio of facilities for fitness, leisure and sports. Our 11 Fitness Flex facilities are located across South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. www.fitnessflex.org.uk We operate Calypso Cove Waterpark, housed in the Metrodome Leisure Complex - www.calypsocovewaterpark.org.uk We operate Metrodome Bowling, an award winning 8-lane state of the art ten pin bowling alley - www.metrodomebowling.org.uk We provide a huge number of traditional sporting opportunities, from fitness suites to badminton, as well as catering for a broad range of leisure pursuits and popular culture that include comedy nights and concerts. The Metrodome Arena and Rigby Café & Lounge offer opportunities for functions ranging from birthdays to weddings and corporate events and exhibitions. We provide an excellent facilities management (FM) service for all sporting and cultural facilities and are always happy to discuss this service with potential partners, whether it is for one site or a group of facilities you are considering management options for. This may include school sport facilities, leisure centres, civic halls, museums, libraries, and event and conference facilities.
