In September 2016; Crawford took the unique step of setting up its own legal practice in the UK. Crawford & Company Legal Services Limited (CLS) is an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) approved by the SRA. Within 3 years CLS was awarded ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the 2019 British Claims Awards and has also recently been nominated for Insurance Law Firm of the Year by the Insurance Times. CLS is increasingly seen by clients as a significant enhancement to the more traditional adjuster model and a disruptor to the legal profession.
