Our story starts in the early '90s, with our founders Steven and Sarah Fenn. Sarah, a qualified Early Years Educator, wanted to make a change in the staid childcare sector. With Stevens entrepreneurial skills the two embarked on a journey to bring a dynamic, new approach to nurseries. Key to their vision was the need to reflect the secure, joyful and nurturing environment that their own children experienced at home, while offering a curriculum which empowered their children to learn and grow. Steven and Sarah’s commitment was then, as it remains today, to treat all children attending Fennies nurseries as if they are treasured members of their own family and to give each child the highest quality of care and education that they had wanted for their own, or “The Right Start for Under 5s". Over the years that commitment has not wavered, and this privately run business now owns 11 successful nurseries across London and the South of England.
