Girlguiding North West England is one of the nine countries/regions of Girlguiding, the UK's leading youth organisation for girls and young women. There are 17 counties in the North West England region, covering Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire and the Isle of Man. A registered charity, Girlguiding North West England is committed to supporting our 55,000 members, particularly our adult volunteers, to deliver challenging, exciting and rewarding guiding experiences to girls and young women aged from 5 to 18. Our leaders and volunteers receive excellent training and gain transferable skills they can use in the workplace due to the wide range of flexible roles and opportunities available through guiding. Girlguiding North West England seeks to work in partnership with other individuals and organisations who want to give girls and young women the chance to discover their full potential and be a powerful force for good.
