Flybe is Europe's largest regional airline with 139 routes serving 8 countries, operating from a total of 56 departure points, 26 UK and 30 European airports* (all routes on sale Dec’19 –Oct’20). Flybe operates more UK domestic flights than any other airline - 38% of all UK domestic flights in 2019 (OAG, 2019). Flybe was recognised as the most punctual UK-based airline (8th in Europe) in FlightGlobal’s annual On-Time Performance Awards (Jan’19) and shared top spot in the Which? ‘Best and Worst Airlines 2019’ report in the Short Haul Category (Jan’19). Flybe operates 54 Bombardier Q400, 3 Embraer 195, 9 Embraer 175 and 2 ATR 72 aircraft; codeshares with Air France, Etihad, Finnair, Aer Lingus, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Air India, Singapore Airlines, Alitalia and Loganair. Flybe was purchased by Connect Airways, a consortium comprising Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Group and Cyrus Capital Partners on 22nd February 2019 and was given final EU clearance on 5th July 2019.
