DESCRIPTION

The Innovation SuperNetwork is developed with around 60 partner organisations to support innovation in the North East. A “network of networks” we turn innovation policy into practice and bring together businesses, academics, public and third sector organisations to work together on collaborative innovation projects. The SuperNetwork is strategically aligned to the North East LEP and exists to increase connectivity and collaboration between the region’s business community. Our mission is to boost regional innovation, make connections to benefit businesses in the area, create the space for fresh ideas to be explored with innovative activity - including through VentureFest North East, FinanceCamp and Innovation Challenge – and to make the introductions that lead to those crucial deals. The SuperNetwork is supported by the North East LEP, Northumbrian Water Group, Engie, North East BIC and Innovate UK, with part-funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
