The Institute for Optimum Nutrition is an independent, not for profit educational charity. Our Mission is to educate and enthuse, instilling Optimum Nutrition as the foundation of health for all. Our principal aim is to further the knowledge and practice of Optimum Nutrition. We do this through: - The provision of information to the public through our monthly online newsletter and general education days and courses, - Training of Nutritional Therapists, - Training of other professions allied to medicine and complementary therapists, - Train the Trainer for other charities and corporates, - Continuing Professional Development, - Education and Food Demonstration Courses, - Provision of speakers, - The Optimum Nutrition Clinic and - Optimum Nutrition Magazine. Through all our activities we promote the principles of optimum nutrition as complementary to orthodox medicine. Focusing on prevention of disorders through healthy eating and reducing reliance on remedial medicine. Through our work we can increase awareness and provide evidenced based information to the public on the benefits of nutrition to health and wellbeing. Established over thirty years ago, ION is one of the most respected training bodies and health information resources of its kind in the UK. ION is a member of the Nutritional Therapy Council's Training Providers Forum and London Excellence. We look for passionate, committed professionals to join our dedicated staff team to support us in delivering nutritional therapy training at the highest level.
