London Care is a leading provider of personal home and social-based care services in London, the South East, East Anglia and the West Midlands. The company operates from 15 regional home care offices, employing a team of around 1,600 home careworkers and 150 management and office staff. Together they deliver more than 34,000 hours each week of home support and social care to thousands of people of all ages and needs. London Care’s services are designed to help people live enjoyable, independent lives in their own homes, by providing services ranging from support with daily living tasks to specialist services including dementia care and palliative care. Service users include children and families; adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, people with mental health needs as well as people over 65 years of age. London Care provides commissioned domiciliary care services on behalf of local authorities, NHS trusts and local councils. London Care was founded in 1995 in Bell Bar, Hertfordshire and in September 2009 became part of Sovereign Capital, the UK’s private equity build and buy specialist. Sovereign has committed £25 million in funding to help London Care further develop and diversify its services.
