MediCinema is the UK’s leading provider of cinematic experiences in NHS settings. Through its six state of the art hospital cinemas which are built to accommodate hospital beds and equipment, MediCinema works to progress patient resilience and recovery through the power of film and the shared cinema experience. During their stays in hospital, patients - both adults and children – and their families can visit the fully-built cinemas for a much-needed break to experience some normality away from the wards. MediCinema is an independently-funded charity which receives no government or NHS funding. Our screenings are available to all patients, their families and carers. Admission is free.
