RESULTS UK exists to create the political and public will to overcome these global injustices. We are a grassroots advocacy organisation that empowers people to take effective action to bring about change. We have groups across the UK who are always keen to welcome new members. Groups meets at least once a month, and always at least the 1st Tuesday of each month, where we participate in a national conference call featuring guest experts and learn about a topical issue. Recent issues have included microfinance, education, sanitation and health (including HIV, TB and child health). We then support each other to take an action, such as meeting with our MP, writing to decision-makers or getting letters published in newspapers. The RESULTS network is supported by a small staff who work in coalition with parliamentarians and organisations around the world to advocate on global poverty issues.
