OKA is a British luxury furniture and home accessories retailer sourced with an eye for beauty, comfort and unique style. OKA was launched in 1999 after co-founder Annabel Astor struggled to find what she wanted in the furniture and homewares market in the UK whilst decorating a house in Florida. Getting together with her sister in law Sue Jones and friend Lucinda Waterhouse, they set up OKA to fill the ‘gap’ in the UK market designing and sourcing beautiful furniture and accessories of exceptional quality at affordable prices. The business has evolved from a mail order catalogue set up by three founders selling rattan accessories for the home to a fully multi-channel business driving sales across mail order, retail stores and online with an established interior design and trade service. With over 230 employees the business now has a fully structured management team operating its own fulfilment and distribution centre with in-house call centre. The product range has evolved to include everything for the home to include dining tables to chairs, upholstered furniture to beds and bedside tables, tableware and glassware, lighting and cushions and throws, as well as a range of outdoor furniture, which can be delivered worldwide.
