Socitm Advisory is a business stream of Socitm, the professional body for practitioners and aspiring leaders of digital technology enabled services that are delivered for public benefit. Socitm Advisory is well established in the public sector as a consulting organisation with particular strengths in the effective use of technology and in the achievement of benefits through business process change and transformation. Since its inception, Socitm Advisory has been engaged by over half the local authorities in the UK to undertake over a thousand projects on their behalf, ranging from ICT reviews, strategy development and technical consultancy to business transformation of major service areas and even entire councils. These projects have covered all service areas of local government, as well as ‘blue light’ services and a range of other public sector organisations.
