Tequila Works is a boutique studio founded by senior veterans from Blizzard Entertainment, Disney, El Ranchito, Electronic Arts, MercurySteam Entertainment, Pyro Studios, Virtual Toys and Zinkia. Collective highlights include movies like A Bug's Life, Pan's Labyrinth, Geri's Game, TV series like Game of Thrones, games like Aliens VS Predator, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Commandos series or Diablo III. The goal at Tequila is "Creating with Gusto". Tequila Works' first project was the original IP and Summer of Arcade 2012 hit Deadlight, released on XBLA and Steam. Tequila Works was the first Spanish studio nominated to a BAFTA for "Best Debut" for Deadlight. Tequila Works focuses on the creation of original IPs from inception to release like the award-winning Deadlight, RiME, The Sexy Brutale or the world first immersive theater VR experience The Invisible Hours.
